Vegan Pizza Rolls
Simple 3 ingredient recipe that tastes just like Totino’s Pizza Rolls.
This simple vegan pizza roll recipe only uses three ingredients and is the perfect copycat for Totino’s pizza rolls. It’s filled with delicious pizza sauce and vegan cheese. For other fun snacks check out my zucchini bread recipe.
How to make pizza rolls?
In order to make homemade vegan pizza rolls I make the dough out of leftover wonton wrappers. Layering two wonton wrappers together will allow you to get the perfect crispy texture similar to Totino’s pizza rolls. I’ve tried it with only one layer of the wonton wrapper and it doesn’t create the same level of crunch. If you find thicker wonton wrappers you could potentially only use one but I find most store bought wonton wrappers to be very thin. My preferred method is to fry it in the air fryer but you can also bake them in the oven.
Make it vegan.
Wonton wrappers typically contain egg but you can usually find one option that doesn’t contain eggs. Vegan mozzarella cheese is actually easier to find, I always get mine from Trader Joe’s!

Vegan Pizza Rolls
Pin this RecipeEquipment
- 1 air fryer
- 1 Rolling Pin
Ingredients
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- ½ cup shredded vegan mozzarella
- 1 package wonton wrappers you won't need all the wrappers in the package
Instructions
- Defrost the frozen wonton wrappers
- In a small bowl, mix together the pizza sauce and the mozzarella cheese
- Take two wonton wrappers out of the stack and use a rolling pin to roll the dough together. This not only helps the wonton wrappers stick together but also makes the dough wider. Roll until the dough is roughly 1.5 in size. Note: If the two pieces of wrapper start to come apart, you can "glue" them back together by placing some water in between and sealing it shut. It's important that you use two pieces of wrapper for a thicker and more crunchy pizza roll.
- Fold the wrapper down the middle both ways so you have the outline of four squares. Use a knife to cut the wonton wrapper along the line so you now have four equal squares
- Take one square and wet the edges with water. This is to help seal the wonton top and bottom together.
- Take a small spoonful of the pizza sauce and mozzarella mixture and place it in the center of the square. I like to use roughly 1 tsp of sauce.
- Take another square and place it on top, making sure the top and bottom line up together. Use your fingers to press the top and bottom wonton wrapper together. It is okay if sauce leaks out! Just wipe it off and continue sealing the roll. Optional: use a fork to gently press the top and bottom edges together to create ridges.
- Repeat until you're out of sauce. One rolled out wrapper will make 2 rolls.
- Spray both sides of the pizza roll with non-stick spray. Put it in the air-fryer for at 425℉ for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Serve with some marinara sauce or your favorite ranch dressing.
